American Masters, now in its 10th year, is an exhibition and sale founded in 2008 by Tim Newton, who has been the Chairman of the Board and CEO of the Salmagundi Club since 2011. From its inception, American Masters was designed as a fundraiser for the historic Salmagundi Club, with the net proceeds designated to the Salmagundi’s gallery-renovation project. This year’s American Master's show will include 70 artists, exhibiting approximately two to three works each. There will be paintings, drawings, and sculpture in a variety of subjects and media.
